				). The reading is unusual in that it brings together for the first time the major Latino writing groups in the Seattle area. Writers participating include members of Los Norte&ntilde;os, the region&#146;s most established Latino literary group, which has produced readings at the Elliott Bay Book Company, the Richard Hugo House, and elsewhere. Los Norte&ntilde;os is affiliated with

					La Casa de Artes
				</A>
				, a Seattle-based Latino Cultural Organization. Also featured will be members of Ra&iacute;z Palabra Voz, a group of Puget Sound Latina writers, and Mujeres Entreletras, Seattle-area women writers who convene twice monthly to share their work, primarily in Spanish.

				ELLF has developed a scholarship fund to provide financial assistance to Latino students attending community colleges or 4-year university in Washington State. To qualify for an ELLF scholarship, students must have at least a 2.50 grade point average (on a 4.0 scale) to apply and be enrolled in an accredited college or university.
